B3 is a charity bike ride with the Pablove Foundation on June 16 featuring brunch & refreshment stops along the route at Tony's Darts Away, Golden Road Brewing and Mohawk Bend |
“B3” (standing for Bikes, Brunch and Beer) is a charity bike ride event taking place in L.A.’s eastside featuring brunch & refreshment stops along the way. This unique ride will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012 and all the proceeds will go to the Pablove Foundation, a Silver Lake nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer with love.
The event will begin at Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank with a carb-up, pre-ride brunch and bicycle decoration station. Five miles later, riders get to stop by L.A.’s newest and biggest brewery, Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village for refreshments and contest announcements. The casual ride will culminate at Echo Park’s Mohawk Bend with a deeply discounted full brunch spread and beverage refreshments for riders who complete the approximately 11-mile journey.
Registration costs a $25 admission fee and includes the inaugural B3 Ride t-shirt, which is the ticket to ride and receive specially priced food and drink.
For those who want to complete the full circuit, we suggest a return route that follows the LA River Bike Path.
In order to maximize our giving to Pablove, we are providing sponsorship incentives to encourage participants to raise funds beyond their admission cost. Our sponsorship plans include the following prizes:
There will also be prizes awarded for Best Bike Decorations, Biggest Handlebars and more.
Along the way there will be great discounted food and the option to enjoy discounted, locally made craft beer. In addition to fresh, market-driven brunch dishes, each rider will have their choice of select craft beers at Tony’s Darts Away, Golden Road Brewing and Mohawk Bend.
This is the first of many charitable events we are organizing and we hope you will come enjoy our ride with us and our community.
Tune up your bike and come hungry because we are going to roll down the streets of Los Angeles for a great time and a great cause.
Cheers!
